HighGround Dairy is pleased to announce that Travis Stoel will be joining the team, effective immediately, as Director of Hedge Advisory Services. Travis is a dairy risk management and procurement specialist who has acquired more than 15 years of experience in the dairy industry with tenure at FCStone, The Schwan Food Company, Kellogg Company, and Cargill.

As Director of HighGround Dairy’s Hedge Advisory Services, Travis will be utilizing his unique skill set to help both dairy producers, processors and end-users quantify, mitigate, and manage risk associated in all aspects of the supply chain. Travis is known throughout the industry as an innovator in dairy risk management as he has helped create customer-specific solutions ranging from direct supply models to Value-at-Risk (VaR) analysis.

Travis obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in agricultural economics and currently lives in Southwest Minnesota where he is an active member in the family farm operation consisting of 1,400 acres of corn and soybean production.
