GDT held their twelfth Pulse Auction today. Highlights from the auction include:
- C2 (Feb ’23) Regular WMP – $3,205/MT, DOWN $10 or -0.3% vs. last week’s GDT Event on 20 December.
- 935MT was sold of a total of 1,000MT on offer (93.5%). Out of 28 participating bidders (DOWN 3 bidders vs. prior Pulse), there were 14 winners (UP 1 vs. prior Pulse) over 9 bidding rounds UP 1 from prior Pulse).
- Prices declined further this Pulse event from the previous GDT Auction held last week as lackluster demand and the holiday season keep the market quiet in the short-term. The average wining price at today’s auction marks the lowest C2 Regular WMP price since event 274 which occurred on December 15, 2020.
