GDT held their 19th Pulse Auction today. Highlights include:
- C2 (May ’23) Regular WMP – $3,135/MT, DOWN 1.9% or -$60/MT vs. last week’s GDT Auction on 21 March.
- 980MT or 98% of the total 1,000MT on offer was sold. Out of 24 participating bidders (DOWN 6 bidders vs. prior Pulse), there were 13 winning bidders (-3 vs. prior Pulse) over 9 bidding rounds (+3 from prior Pulse).
- Global demand remains stunted resulting in a further decline in WMP price to record the lowest GDT Pulse settlement since the auction began 9 August 2022.
