Dairy Market Analyst
Hattie Polson is originally from rural Northeast Kansas, where she grew up on her family’s row crop farm and developed an early appreciation for the people and systems that shape the food and farm economy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University, with additional studies in Global Food Systems Leadership. Hattie went on to earn her Master of Science in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics from Michigan State University, where her research focused on agricultural markets, producer decision-making, and the adoption of new technologies in the dairy and soybean sectors.
Throughout her studies, Hattie completed internships in commodity trading, market research, and food and agricultural policy spaces, building a diverse foundation in economic analysis across the food and agriculture sectors. Excited to bring this perspective to HighGround, Hattie combines strong analytical skills with a practical understanding of agriculture to help customers better understand changing market dynamics.
