Region IX (CA, AZ) and Region VI (TX, NM) posted the strongest YoY gains of 2023 which also brought the US total slaughter to its sharpest growth as well.
Over the past three weeks, Region IX (dominated by California) has culled an additional 8,000 head vs previous year.
